Energy Industry Veteran, James McDougall joins R2B as an Advisor

James McDougall, who has held several Executive and Non-Executive Board assignments in North America, Asia and Europe as CEO and Managing Director, has joined R2B Microgrid Solutions as an advisor.

Mr. McDougall joins the team when R2B is going through a fund raising process for the company and its renewable projects. R2B is raising seed round capital and project-financing for energy projects totaling more than 2MW. Mr. McDougall’s experience raising capital for early-stage and growth equity, project-financing and government grants for startups, will be beneficial for R2B.

Founders of R2B Microgrid Solutions, David Tam and Fazil Parappurath, have expressed excitement and mentioned, “that the guidance ­of Mr. McDougall will be a tremendous asset  and his insightful observations will contribute significantly to the company in gaining traction in renewable energy space.”

Mr. McDougall is an entrepreneur, CEO, global connector, advisor, venture capitalist and start-up professional with global experience in building high performing teams, commercializing new technologies, leading companies in their crossing of the chasm, implementing strategic pivots, turnarounds and positioning for rapid growth and value creation.
