Fazil is leading the finance team at R2B to secure funding and assess financial feasibility of microgrid projects. He believes that distributed energy technology like microgrids have huge potential not only for resiliency but also in eradicating energy poverty. His life goal is to develop products and services which improve people’s life, especially in the developing and under developed parts of the world. He has more than 10 years experience in various roles in the technology sector and completed his MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from University of Oregon. Fazil also has experience assessing investment opportunities for Willamette Angel Conference and University of Oregon Seed Fund.

Chen Huo graduated from Northeast Electric Power (Dianli) University in China in 2011 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Automation. He got his Master of Science and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at Oregon State University in 2015 and 2018. His research interests include power system analysis and protection, power system resiliency, and Microgrid.

Bowen is story teller who can use numbers and data analysis to tell stories and then make them true. With great passion in green energy, Bowen dedicates himself into microgrids industry and firmly believe it is the solution for future energy. Bowen has over five years experiences in project management, consulting, and financial analysis. He also has international experience in commercial banking and emerging market equity investment. He earned his MBA degree from Cameron Center of Finance and Securities Analysis at University of Oregon.

James McDougall, who has held several Executive and Non-Executive Board assignments in North America, Asia and Europe as CEO and Managing Director, has joined R2B Microgrid Solutions as an advisor. James is an entrepreneur, CEO, global connector, advisor, venture capitalist and start-up professional with global experience in building high performing teams, commercializing new technologies, leading companies in their crossing of the chasm, implementing strategic pivots, turnarounds and positioning for rapid growth and value creation. Won numerous Cleantech and technology pioneer awards at several companies as CEO of several cutting edge energy storage companies.

Peter Gregory is the founder of Green Energy Corp and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. For over 25 years, Mr. Gregory has developed his skill set and management capacity in industry operations and has served as: CEO, CFO, and VP Engineering for software manufacturing companies. Mr. Gregory founded Green Energy Corp and held senior management positions in several companies in the utility industry.

Since 1991, Mr. Gregory has been instrumental in creating the architecture of the Smart Grid by providing automation solutions and software systems & integration services to electric utility customers throughout North America. Mr. Gregory holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Jason Pockrus is Tam Global Consultants’ in-house grant writer. He specializes in guiding businesses and nonprofits through the grant process and writing compelling narratives that win funding. Dr. Pockrus’ proposals have been accepted and secured grant funding from organizations including the US Fulbright Program, The NEA, The NSF, The McDaniels Foundation, the Woodard Memorial Fund, the China Scholars Council, and more. In addition to his 15 + years’ experience as a grant writer, researcher, and academic, Dr. Pockrus is also a Google Certified SEO and offers expertise on a variety of commercial writing projects.

Dr. Pockrus is a Fulbright Scholar and is fluent in spoken and written Chinese.
